Welcome to the column of the Legislative Department of Surigao del Norte!

I am delighted to say that at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, we commit to support the programs of our Governor Atty. Francisco Matugas- the HEALS Plus Reform Agenda thru the ROADS Core Values. We have so much work ahead of us, especially in the drafting of necessary Codes and other significant Legislative Measures which will address key issues in our province and introduce sweeping reforms, yet, we shall keep the fire of inspiration burning and we will strive to align our vision and our legislative agenda with the aspirations of the Surigaonons and of this administration.

We will do our best to propel a more active Sangguniang Panlalawigan. And the SP will always be open as a listening office, committed to offer speedy, quality and genuine legislative services to our clients whom we have vowed to serve.

​We may bump into various types of weather and circumstances in our journey ahead. But, with our faith in God from whom all good things come, plus our trust and confidence in each other, together, surely we can rise over and above the challenges that may come our way and we will safely reach our destination.
